On Tuesday, Jan. 12 the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 73 positive COVID-19 test results, 98 negative, and 22 recoveries. Of the 73 positives, 56 were PCR, and 17 were antigen. There are currently 25 hospitalized in Brown County.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Brown County currently shows 713 people vaccinated with 1st doses , 19 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates

Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 13th-15th  in Brownwood from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
