On Tuesday, Dec. 22 at about 11:33 a.m., Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to High Mesa. This was in regard to theft. After speaking with the victim, Larry Newman, it was discovered a burglary of building had occurred. A report was taken with no suspects to list.
On Wednesday, Dec. 23 at about 1:48 p.m. Deputy Marvin Simpson took a phone call in regard to illegal dumping. The complainant stated trash was on both sides of the county road and is flying on to other peoples properties. Deputy Simpson went to CR 178 to investigate the claim. A report was made for illegal dumping.
On Wednesday, Dec. 23 at approximately 5:30 p.m. deputies were performing a civil standby at CR 234. While at the residence a Criminal Trespass Warning was issued to an individual. A report was made.
On Thursday, Dec. 24, Deputy Andre Smoot responded to an assault. While on scene, Smoot spoke to the victim only, due to suspect leaving scene. Smoot gathered pertinent information and completed a report for further investigation.
On Thursday, Dec. 24 at approximately 5:27 p.m. deputies responded to High Mesa Drive. This was in reference to a machete left by an unknown person. While there, the complainant advised there were items missing from the property and a damaged window screen. The missing items were inventoried and photographs were taken of the scene. A report was made.
On Saturday, Dec. 26 at about 05:47 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at the Hendrick Medical Center located at Crockett Dr in Brownwood. This was in regard to an assault. Langley spoke with an alleged victim who stated he was assaulted by a suspect after a verbal altercation.
On Saturday, Dec. 26 at approximately 10:09 a.m. Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Highway 183 North. This was in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle report and investigation.
On Saturday, Dec. 26 at about 2:32 p.m. Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at Monaghan Drive in Brownwood. This was in regard to a theft. Langley spoke with the alleged victim who stated someone took his 4 wheeler from his front yard.
On Saturday, Dec. 26 at approximately 5:17p.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood, responded to a Burglary of a Habitation after the fact, which had occurred at Donegal Drive in Brownwood.
On Sunday, Dec. 27 at approximately 11:50 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Highway 183 North. This was in reference to an assault and criminal mischief report and investigation.
On Sunday, Dec. 27 at 4:36 p.m. Corporal Jayson Bastardo, was dispatch to CR 619 in Blanket. This was in regards to disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, Bastardo spoke with an individual who said a white male subject was attempting to take his vehicle. After further investigation, information was gathered and a report was taken.
