Brown County and Central Texas should brace for an active week of weather.
According to KOXE Meteorologist Randy Turner, a dynamic upper level low pressure area, located early Monday morning over southern California, will bring much needed rain but also a threat for severe storms followed by wintry weather. “I expect to see various winter weather advisories issued in the next day or so,” Turner said, adding that rain amounts of one-half to one inch are possible Tuesday through Thursday.
