On Wednesday, Nov. 4 at approximately 2:31 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to North Highway 279. This was in reference to a theft and criminal mischief report and investigation.
On Friday, Nov. 20 at about 1:03 p.m., Deputy Marvin Simpson took a call at Stephen F Austin. This was in regards to a license plate that was stolen from a trailer. Deputy Simpson spoke with the victim. A report was made.
On Friday, Nov. 20, Deputy Andre Smoot spoke with complainant referencing a theft. After further investigation, Smoot completed a report for False Statement to Obtain Property or Credit.
On Friday, Nov. 20 at about 12:44 p.m., Deputy Simpson responded to Cork Dr. This was in regards to a burglary. Deputy Simpson made contact with the owner of the residence prior to making it to the scene and after. The owner advised she does want to pursue charges against whoever burglarized her building. A report was made.
On Sunday, Nov. 22, Deputy Mike Sheedy responded to Hwy 183 North. This was regarding a fight that was no longer in progress. Information from dispatch indicated an individual had been fighting with others at this location, and that individual was also having a medical emergency. On arrival, medical assistance was provided by EMS, and information was gathered for an information report.
On Sunday, Nov. 22 at about 8:46 a.m., Deputy Simpson responded to CR 291. This was in regards to a domestic, which had already occurred. Upon arriving on scene, Deputy Simpson made contact with the victim, who stated he was punched in the face and strangled by the suspect, who was not on scene. Deputy Simpson also noticed a trailer loaded with trash, which was a public nuisance. The trash from the trailer was being spread down the road by animals. Deputy Simpson made a report for the Third Degree Felony Assault Family Violence Strangulation and Class B Illegal Dumping.
On Sunday, Nov. 22 at approximately 3:12 p.m., Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was dispatched to the area of Neal Drive and Belfast Drive. This was in reference to an animal complaint.
On Sunday, Nov. 22, at about 4:48 p.m., Deputy Simpson responded to a theft of a roadside memorial at Access Storage at Hwy 279. The victim stated someone had stolen three wreaths from the fence at Access Storage. A Class B Misdemeanor Theft report was made.
On Sunday, Nov. 22, Deputy Taylor Fletcher was advised by a complainant that one of his rent trailers had been burglarized in late September. A report was made.
On Sunday, Nov. 22, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to CR 474 Bangs. This was for a report of criminal mischief. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On Sunday, Nov. 22 at approximately 9:07 p.m., Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was advised by dispatch an inmate on inmate assault had taken place in the Brown County Jail.
On Monday, Nov. 23 at approximately 7:07 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Belfast Drive in Brownwood in reference to a criminal mischief report and investigation.
On Monday, Nov. 23 at approximately 1:10 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Highway 279 in reference to a Harassment report and investigation.
On Monday, Nov. 23 at approximately 5:27 p.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived at West Main Blvd. This was in reference to a weapons offense against the complainant’s dog. Gover spoke to the complainant and attempted to locate the possible suspect. A report was made.
On Tuesday, Nov. 24 at approximately 12:44 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Lovers Lane in Brownwood. This was in reference to a theft report and investigation.
On Wednesday. Nov. 25, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to County Road 619 and the Railroad Crossing. This was in regards to deer being dumped. A report has been made.
On Wednesday, Nov. 25 at about 8:08 a.m., Deputy Simpson responded to Early Blvd. This was in regards to a dog bite, which occurred in the county. Deputy Simpson met with the victim who advised she was bit by her daughter’s dog and was unable to get out of the lake. A report was made.
On Wednesday, Nov. 25, Deputy Andre Smoot spoke with complainant. This was referencing a dog bite. Smoot spoke with the owner of dog, gathered pertinent information, and completed a report.
On Wednesday, Nov. 25, Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to a report of a hit and run. Caller reported his mailbox was damaged by an unknown vehicle. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On Wednesday, Nov. 25 at approximately 5:27 p.m., Deputy Nicolas A. Wood, was dispatched to Belfast Drive. This was in reference to a Burglary after the fact.
On Saturday, Nov. 28 at approximately 1:50 a.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover and Deputy Joe Thomas were dispatched to the Brown County Jail. This was in reference to a possible controlled substance inside the facility. After further investigation, the substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
On Saturday, Nov. 28 at approximately 6:51 p.m., Deputy Joe Thomas and Deputy Carlyle James Gover were dispatched to Monaghan Drive. This was was in reference a burglary. After further investigation, photographs were taken of the scene and missing property was cataloged. A report was made.
On Sunday, Nov. 29 at 12:12 a.m., Corporal Jayson Bastardo, was dispatch to N US 183. This was in regards to Burglary of a Vehicle. Upon arrival, Bastardo spoke with an individual who said his ex-girlfriend took four sets of keys from his vehicles, and had taken his dog from the residence. All information was gathered and a report was taken.
On Sunday, Nov. 29 at approximately 7:45 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to the LEC. This was in reference to an Elderly Abuse report and investigation.
