WALL – The Brownwood Lady Lions slipped to 3-3 on the season with a 57-21 loss at Class 3A No. 9 Wall Tuesday afternoon.
Brownwood gave the ball away 33 times and converted just 5 of 33 field goals (15 percent), including 1 of 11 three-pointers (9 percent). The Lady Lions converted 10 of 16 free throws (62 percent), grabbed 19 rebounds and created 16 steals.
The Lady Lions trailed 20-4 after one quarter, 39-7 at halftime and 47-14 through three periods.
Brooke Price and Tessa Goodwin scored eight points apiece for Brownwood trailed by two points each from Alexa Arreola and Kynslee Walker and one point from Naysa Leach.
Brownwood is back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 as it hosts Class 3A No. 8 Jim Ned.
