Sheffield’s 10U Glory took the 10 team field by storm going a perfect 6-0 and outscoring their opponents 45 to 6 in-route to the championship on Sunday afternoon. Sheffield’s 10u team has won 3 straight tournaments and is on a 19 game winning streak and a 28 and 2 overall record for their fall season. Head Coach Amanda Sheffield said “To go on this type of run is something special. We have told these girls since the spring and the pandemic hit to continue to work hard and believe in the process. That their hard work would pay off and it has.” Sheffield went on to say “(Brenda) Allen and (Corinne) Sheffield have been brilliant in the circle allowing just 9 ER and striking out a combined 256 in 98 innings. When you combine that with three girls hitting over 500 and as a team batting 414 on the season it makes Glory 10u Sheffield a very strong team.”
