The Brownwood Art Center will host a Demonstration by Danica Lee from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at 215 Fisk Avenue.
Lee will demonstrate how she makes Native American flutes and will also play music with her unique instruments. She is of direct descent of the Shawnee Nation and follows in the footsteps of her ancestor. Her artwork is energized by an ever present sense of adventure. Lee’s personal affinity with nature constitutes the foundation of her passion which inspires her artwork, flutes and music.
Join Lee at the Art Center to learn about how she got started as an artist and about the history of Native American flutes. Her artwork is currently displayed at the Art Center’s November Art Exhibit. The demonstration is free and open to the public.
