Dale Allen Ross entered this world on September 21, 1958, in Lebanon, Missouri and left for his Heavenly home on October 12, 2020, after a long battle with cancer.

He was adopted by Clarence Calvin Ross and Alice (Walker) Ross. He married his beloved wife, Marcy on January 29, 1993. Dale was a hard-working man devoted to his faith in the Lord and his family, while also being devoted to his country through his service in the Air Force. He was a master plumber working in the Howard Payne maintenance department. He also served his community through countless hours spent in people’s homes helping with their plumbing needs. It brought him so much joy serving in the children’s ministry where he taught the 2 and 3 year-old Sunday School classes and worked in AWANA, year after year. He also enjoyed coaching his kids’ soccer teams for many years.

Dale leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Marcy; his four children: Leslie and her husband Matt, Jonathan and his wife Rosemary, Nathan and his wife Jessica, and Devyn; nine grandchildren: Skyler, Bryce, Aspyn, Ella, Miles, Max, Evelynn, Harper, and Ezra; and father and mother-in-law, Don and Betty Roath. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends. He has been reunited with his parents, Clarence and Alice; and his grandson, Zachary Sean Tulcus.

Funeral Services for Dale will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2020, at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church with Tim Skaggs officiating; burial with Military Honors will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to services from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Knit Together, a foster care ministry at 102 Parkview Terrace, Brownwood, Texas. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
