On Tuesday, Oct. 6, at approximately 10:57 a.m., while on uniformed patrol in a marked Brown County Sheriff’s Office patrol unit, Deputy Michael Davis was dispatched to a walk-in lobby report at the Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Davis met with individual inside the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office.
On Tuesday, Oct. at about 10:42 p.m. Deputy Marvin Simpson was in route to CR 619. This was in regards to a disorderly conduct. While in route, Deputy Simpson was notified an intoxicated male subject had left the scene in a green Buick La Sabre. Deputy Simpson located the vehicle on US 67/377 heading to Early. Deputy Simpson noticed the vehicle pull into a driveway on Early Blvd and turn the lights off. Deputy Simpson pulled into the driveway and made contact with the suspect, who had exited the vehicle. The suspect had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for Class B Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect was transported to the Brown County Jail.
