A Memorial Service for Crystal Phillips will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2020 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

Crystal passed away at Abilene Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her father Roy Lee Loudermilk and her mother Doris Juanita Wellborn Loudermilk.

Crystal is survived by her husband David D. Phillips, sons David L. Phillips and wife Melissa T., Jeffery A. Phillips and wife Melissa G., and grandchildren Collin and wife Katlin, Gwen, Zoe, Ivan, and Trevor, and her brother Larry Lee Loudermilk and wife Jan, along with many friends and family across the country.

Crystal was an avid photographer and quilter, but she did set aside a little time for her husband. Crystal worked as a substance abuse counselor and was very active in women ministries and speaking.  She also wrote and published a book about overcoming the trauma of a suicide in the family.  Crystal loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play their various sports.  She loved everyone and treated everyone she met like family. She cared deeply for people.  We all loved her and will miss her greatly.

Condolences, memories and tributes can be offered to the family online at heartlandfuneralhome.net.
