Vicki Lynn Cox

Vicki Lynn Cox, age 65, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Bangs, TX. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Brownwood.

Vicki was born Friday, December 2, 1955 in Waco, TX. She attended school in Early, where she later graduated from Early High School. Vicki married Tim Cox on August 26, 1976 and began a life together that blessed them with two children, Shannon and Timmy. Vicki enjoyed taking care of other people and lived for her grandbabies. She was a very happy person that loved everyone. Vicki worked her whole life until her health wouldn’t let her and she was forced to retire. Family was the most important thing to Vicki along with being close to her grandbabies. She attended church at Calvary Baptist Church in Brownwood.

She is survived by daughter Shannon Cox of Brownwood; son Timmy Cox of Stephenville; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Vicki is preceded in death by her loved husband Tim Cox and her parents.

Vicki’s family would like to send a Special Thank You to Bangs Nursing Home and to Dawn at Solaris Hospice for all of the wonderful care they have shown their mother.
