On Wednesday, Sept. 16, Deputy Andre Smoot was dispatched to a disturbance. Once on scene, no one was on the property. The victim was found driving down the street and came back to the scene. It was discovered through interview the victim was choked and punched. The suspect later came back to the property after a pursuit started. The suspect was arrested and report completed.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to Trey Ln. This was for a report of an assault not in progress. One individual reported another had assaulted her and her step-dad before leaving the area. Information was gathered and two reports were made.
On Thursday, Sept. 17, Deputy Andre Smoot was dispatched to an abandoned Food Mart for a front broken glass door. Once on scene the officer attempted multiple ways of getting hold of a property owner. Unable to locate one, the officer completed a report for further investigation.
On Thursday, Sept. 17, Sgt. Taylor Fletcher received a report from an individual who advised someone had filed for unemployment in her name. A report was made.
