Lisa Jeanine Young (McVay) passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Bangs Nursing and rehabilitation.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 19th at 2 pm at Midtown Church in Brownwood Texas.

Lisa Young was born in Brady Texas to James McVay and Carolyn Poole. Lisa spent most of her childhood in and around Brady. Later she married Robert Cumba and with him had two children Jarritt and Jordan Cumba. She lovingly looked after and did all she could to take care of her boys. She spent time as a CNA and loved working with the elderly. In her later years, she found joy in a renewed relationship with her two sons and the highlight of her last few years was being called Memaw by her Granddaughter Sophia and before her passing she got to see the birth of her grandson Samuel. She also found much happiness in raising Pekingese the latest being Pixie. Some of the things Lisa enjoyed doing was writing, raising Pekingese, and spending time outdoors.

Left to cherish her memories are two sons; Jarritt Alan Cumba his wife Sarah and their two children Sophia and Samuel of Bangs, TX, Jordan Lee Cumba of Bangs Tx, Sisters Pam Ellis and honorary sister Sonia Camp and host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
