On Monday, Aug. 31, Lt. Pete Bastardo spoke with an individual in regard to trespassing. The individual provided two photos of an unknown male being on his property. A report for trespassing was taken from the individual.
On Friday, Sept. 4, Sgt. Taylor Fletcher responded to CR 415. This was to assist Cross Plains officers with a pursuit, which had terminated in Brown County. The evading suspect had fled on foot, and his girlfriend was found driving in the area. A baggie containing 0.6 grams of methamphetamine was found in plain sight, in addition to 6.2 grams of amphetamine tablets in the center console and a magnetic pouch containing drug paraphernalia.
On Friday, Sept. 4 at about 9:12 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Boyett Dr. in Brownwood. This was in regards to a burglary. Langley spoke with the victim who stated a suspect had kicked in the back wall of the residence and stolen a ladder. The victim stated the suspect had also dumped trash on the property, and damaged walls and the kitchen of the residence.
On Friday, Sept. 4 at approximately 1:56 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Live Oak and Willow Drive in May. This was in reference to a burglary of a habitation report and investigation.
On Friday, Sept. 4 at about 1:13 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Main St. in Blanket. This was in regards to Criminal Trespass warning. Langley spoke with the victim who stated she did not want her ex son-in-law, the suspect, on her property.
On Saturday, Sept. 5 at about 5:28 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at Bluebonnet Dr., #13 in Early. This was in regards to criminal mischief. Langley spoke to the victim who stated her soon to be ex-husband, the suspect, had broken a window out of her residence.
On Saturday, Sept. 5 at about 8:44 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at CR 404 in Brownwood. This was in regards to a stolen vehicle. Langley spoke with the victim who stated someone had taken his vehicle without his consent.
On Saturday, Sept. 5 at about 1:05 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Glen Oak Dr in Brownwood. This was in regards to an unwanted person. Langley spoke to the victim who stated she did not want the suspect on her property.
On Saturday, Sept. 5, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of Trespassing. Upon arrival, Thomas spoke with the complainant, who advised an individual had put a boat and a tractor shredder on their property without their consent. A report was made.
On Saturday, Sept. 5, deputies responded to Oak Beach for a report of a large fight. Upon arriving on scene, multiple people were reportedly involved in the fight, but only two subjects were claiming injuries.
On Sunday, Sept. 6, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of an Assault. Witness’s on scene stated a fight broke out at the residence and a male subject was assaulted. A report was made.
On Sunday, Sept. 6 at 10:40p.m., Corporal Jayson Bastardo was dispatched a call in regards to criminal trespass. Upon arrival, Bastardo spoke with an individual who requested a criminal trespass warning be issued to his neighbor. Trespass warning was served and a report was taken.
On Monday, Sept. 7 at approximately 5:38 a.m., while on uniformed patrol in a marked Brown County patrol unit, Deputy M. Davis was dispatched to CR 344 in Early. This was regarding reported prior burglary.
On Monday, Sept. 7, Deputy Andre Smoot was dispatched to County Road 381 for a burglary not in progress. Once on scene, Smoot spoke with the complainant, who advised he didn’t immediately discover anything missing throughout the few buildings which or on the property. The only thing the complainant discovered was a chain link fence had been cut and ladder moved. Smoot completed a report for criminal mischief.
