Diamantina Cuellar age 87 of Brownwood, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 4, 2020.
Diamantina Cuellar, one of 13 children, was born in Jimenez Coahuila Mexico to Enemencio and Francisca Constancia on March 13, 1933. Her life work was her family. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and most of all a caregiver. Her gift was the ability to be present and fill any need she saw. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic church and prayed her rosary daily.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her six children, son Felipe Tobias and wife Nancy Tobias from Comanche, Texas; son Jesus Cuellar Jr. also from Comanche, Texas; daughter Rosa Cuellar Juarez and husband Benito Juarez from Houston, Texas; son Abel Cuellar and wife Lisa Cuellar from Round Rock, Texas; daughter Ismelda Ozuna and husband Jose Ozuna from Brownwood, Texas, and daughter Diamantina Cuellar also from Brownwood, Texas. Also, left to remember her fondly are her seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, three great-great children, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Diamantina Cuellar was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Jose de Jesus Cuellar, eight siblings, her daughter Maria Sandoval, and her granddaughter Elida Sandoval.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 on Sunday evening at Davis Morris Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 6:30.
Funeral Mass will be officiated at 10 am on Monday at the Sacred Heart Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery.
