The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Friday regarding felony cases that were heard in Brown/Mills County District Court by Judge Stephen Ellis:
Samuel Sanchez Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Sanchez pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Tony Brazz Burns on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Garrett Michael Johnson pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
