HAWLEY – On the heels of Friday night’s see-saw five-set victory over Evant, the Bangs Lady Dragons on Saturday erased a two-sets-to-none deficit for a five-set win over Hawley.
“The girls started slow and lost the first two games, but fought really hard and came to win the next three,” said Lady Dragons’ second-year head coach Cheyanne Lovelady.
Brooklyn Mullins led the Lady Dragons with 10 kills followed by Halle Lance and Maggie Morales with six apiece.
Skylar Hutchins logged 37 digs and served four aces.
The next match for Bangs (2-3) falls next Saturday at Miles.
