Willie Fenton of Brownwood passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020, at the age of 99.

Private Family Graveside Services for Willie will be held at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Bill Slaymaker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Willie was born of May 5, 1921, in Eden, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Brownwood, where she and her husband owned and operated Fenton Eggs Farm for over 50 years. She was a den mom for the Scouts for many years when her children were growing up. Willie was a member of First Christian Church and a 20 year member of the Pythian Sisters.

Willie is survived by her 3 sons, Wayne Fenton of Brownwood, Howard Melvin Fenton Jr. and wife Barbara of Brownwood, Phillip Fenton and wife Judy of Brownwood; 1 daughter, Barbara Jacobs and husband Darwin of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sr.; 2 sisters, Mildred Abbott and Cecil Hope; 1 brother, Bill Luther; and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
