Brownwood News – There has been a steady stream of early voters at the Brown County Elections Office at 613 N. Fisk.
The number of Democrats voting on Wednesday, July 1, was 13. That brings the total number of votes in the Democratic Primary Runoff to 25 so far this week.
The number of Republicans voting on Wednesday, July 1, was 257. That brings the total number of votes in the Republican Primary Runoff to 735 so far this week.
Early voting at the elections office is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm today (Thurs). The elections office is closed Friday, July 3rd, as it is a county holiday for Independence Day.
Early voting resumes on Monday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 8 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Early voting on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10 will be from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
On election day Tuesday, July 14, polls will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm as usual.
