A graveside funeral service for Sharron Brincefield, age 76, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Eastlawn Memorial Park with David Barnum officiating. Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Sharron Jane Jones Brincefield died peacefully June 4, 2020 with her devoted husband, Wade, by her side. Sharron was born in Brownwood on August 28th, 1943 to J.W. & LaVerne (Bell) Jones. Sharron was a 1961 graduate of Brownwood High School. She married Wade, her high school sweetheart and they had a son, Shannon Wade.
Wade and Sharron owned and operated the popular Tackle Shop on Belle Plain for over 30 years providing their customers with full-service gas, beverages along will all their fishing and hunting needs. They both loved meeting and helping the public. They were well known for their very generous “dozen” minnows and even extended credit on a regular bases to many of their neighborhood customers.
Sharron enjoyed her years as a member of Beta Sigma Phi and their community projects. She was an avid bridge player and looked forward to her weekly bridge games as well as some very lively games of Mexican Train with family. She and Wade loved taking trips to Wendover, Nevada with friends. For several years Sharron volunteered for hospice and was always willing to help a friend or family member. In her later years, Sharron and Wade enjoyed spending hours watching great nieces and nephew, Davalynn, Hadley, Bryson play sports. She attended Victory Baptist Church.
Sharron was preceded in death by their son, Shannon, her brother Tommy and nephews Jason and Brent. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Wade; brother Jimmy Jones and wife, Ann; sister-in-law Vickie Jones; nephew Marc Jones; niece, Lori Jones Pastor and great niece, Kristi McGowen as well as sister-in-law Joye Brincefield Bradford and brother-in-law Marvin Brincefield and wife, Linda plus numerous nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the staff at Cross Country Health Care and Solaris Healthcare for the loving care she received. Memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer Association or your favorite charity or hospice.
