William Leonard “Bill” Brockman, age 85, of Brady, Texas went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 29, 2020 at his residence in Brady.Bill was born November 3, 1934 in Canton, Texas to Clifford Cornelius Brockman and Dovie Etta (Almond) Brockman. He was one of thirteen children. He married Delores Anderson on May 19, 1954 in Abilene, Texas. He married Trudy Sadler on May 15, 1987 in Odessa, Texas. Bill worked as an insurance agent for many years. In 1973 he began a new career with Milford Welding. In 1976 he went to work for BDW Co. Inc. where he worked until 1989 when he retired. He was an avid golfer. Over the years he made a “Hole in One” four times. He liked to fish, hunt and he loved to work in his garden. He also enjoyed looking for arrowheads. He was very handy and could fix almost anything. He adored his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. He and Trudy were members of the First Christian Church in Brady.

William Leonard “Bill” Brockman is survived by his loving wife Trudy Brockman of Brady, Texas; daughter Jacque Martin of Italy, Texas; sisters Connie Shifflett of Hillsboro, TX, and Kathryn Belcher and husband Chuck of Abilene, TX; sister-in-law Gerry Howard of Palestine, Texas; granddaughters Valery Martin and husband Jay Dee Aten of Midlothian, Texas; Macaley Davee and husband Duwayne of Waxahachie, Texas, Samantha Brockman and husband John Nehring of Bozeman, Montana; great-grandchildren Abby, Jaxson, Peighton, Mabel and Marshall and many nieces and nephews who were all very special to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and mother of his children Delores, son Eddie, 8 brothers and 2 sisters.
