Brownwood News – Don’t forget that the Empty Bowls fundraiser for Good Samaritan Ministries is going on today from 11 am to 5 pm.  The COVID-19 restrictions have changed how and where Empty Bowls is being held

According to Good Samaritan Ministries, the bowls really will be empty this year.  As we continue to practice social distancing, Good Samaritan asks that you drive up to their location, 305 Clark Street in downtown Brownwood (not the Coliseum) between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Drop off your minimum $10 donation and receive a hand painted ceramic bowl.  You can also choose a coupon from one of the participating restaurants.

Even though the bowls will be empty, the need of Brown County families has never been greater, according to Good Samaritan Ministries.  They hope you will continue to support their cause and follow them on Facebook for updates.
