Brownwood News – The Brownwood ISD released the following information on Friday afternoon.

Following health and safety precautions and directives, our staff continue to safely meet student needs during this crisis. An update on educational adjustments was released this morning.

As requested, multiple parent resources have been posted at https://www.brownwoodisd.org/oci. Continue to let us know how we can help.

Reminder on Food Service Changes Starting Monday, March 30, 2020

Brownwood ISD continues to offer FREE drive-through and pick-up meals for breakfast and lunch for kids up to 18 years old, regardless of where they go to school. Locations where meals are available include Brownwood High School, East Elementary School, and Northwest Elementary School.

To better serve our community, BISD will begin serving lunch and breakfast at the same time to reduce travel for our families.

  • When picking up lunch, you will receive a lunch, along with a breakfast for the following day.
  • All lunch meals will have breakfast pre-packed for the following day.
  • After March 30th, 7:30-8:30 morning breakfast service will be on Mondays only.
  • The midday pick-up times have expanded to 11:00 – 1:00 starting Monday, March 30th.
