Brownwood News – One Source Express Care and One Source Early have announced changes to patient services and visit locations.

On Monday, March 23, ALL clinics associated with Brownwood Regional Medical Center have implemented restrictive or delayed access to each of their locations. Some services have also been affected.

The One Source Express Care located in United Supermarket at 300 E. Commerce, Brownwood will temporarily cease operation of patient care visits.

One Source Early at 2005 Highway 183 N, Early only accepts patients with flu like symptoms, a cough, fever or difficulty breathing.  Those symptomatic patients will; however, be screened prior to entering the waiting area.  Shannon Delacruz, FNP; Macy Knight, PA and Richard Taft, PA will be providing care at One Source Early.

Patients, who would normally visit Express Care or Early One Source with health concerns (other than flu like symptoms, a cough, fever or difficulty breathing), please call your primary care provider or 325-643-3300 – Heart of Texas Internal Medicine for an appointment.

All Clinics associated with Brownwood Regional Medical Center will implement a mandatory screening process for all patients and visitors prior to entering the waiting area.

They have also suspended the BRMCOneSource.com (Save your Spot) and BrownwoodMedicalGroup.com Online Appointment Request to accommodate the pre-screening prior to a visit.

We understand patients and their family members are concerned about the possibility of incidental exposure. We also know the community is concerned that they have access to care that is delivered in a way that will not unnecessarily spread the virus.

Thank you for your understanding the precautionary changes in operations.
