JoAnn Dickerson Jones left this earth for her eternal home in heaven on March 14, 2020 at the age of 62. She fought a brave battle with cancer that was a true testament to her faith in Jesus Christ.

JoAnn was born to Billy Jo and Billie Ann (Stewart) Dickerson on May 7th 1957. She married the love of her life, Scotty Joe Jones on July 14th, 1979. JoAnn has two sons, Warren Tongate and wife Saundra their children Masey Jo and Max, Casey Jones, wife Jamie & their children Miranda, Hailey, Krista, Marie and Christian, two daughters Shelly Hallum, husband Michael and their children Hunter and Trent, LeeAnn Jones, husband Donnell and their children Aidon and Amiyah. She also has 5 great grandchildren as well as one sister Jarene Hudspeth and husband Rex and one brother Stewart Dickerson and wife Teena, many nieces, nephews & cousins. And a large host of friends that truly are more like family.

Visitation will be Thursday March 19th from 6-8 at Heartland Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Friday March 20th at 2:00 at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Ronald McDonald House, American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church Bangs Children’s Ministry.
