Brownwood News – The Brownwood Police Department on Monday morning released the following calls for service dating back to last Friday and through the weekend.
On 03/13/2020 Brownwood officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Vincent St. in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. A report has been generated.
On Friday, March 13, 2020, at approximately 09:21 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Market Place Boulevard in reference to an assault. A report has been generated.
On 3/13/20, at approximately 12:44 hours, Officer Taylor was advised by dispatch about a subject needing a phone call from an officer wanting information on trespass warnings. A report was eventually filed at the complainant’s request for theft in the 4400 block of McArthur Circle.
On Saturday, March 14, 2020, at approximately 11:17 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of Durham Street in reference to a burglary of a vehicle report. A report has been generated.
On Saturday, 3/14/2020, at approximately 12:25 hours, officers were dispatched to a north side business in the 500 block of West Commerce in reference to found narcotics. The narcotics were seized and report has been generated. The investigation is ongoing.
On Saturday, March 14, 2020, at approximately 12:33 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 2200 block of Austin Avenue in reference to an accident report. A report has been generated.
On Saturday, 3/14/2020, officers were dispatched to a north side business in the 500 block of East Commerce in reference to a theft caught on camera. Evidence was analyzed and a report was taken.
On 03/14/2020 Brownwood officers responded to Ave. H in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report has been generated.
On 3-14-20 Officers responded to the 100 block of Market Place in reference to a criminal mischief. A report was taken for the damage. The investigation remains ongoing.
On Saturday, March 14, 2020, Officers responded to the 2500 block of Vine Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. After speaking to the remaining parties on scene, a report was generated.

On Sunday, March 15, 2020 at approximately 01:20 hours, a traffic stop was conducted on Main and Austin for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, an investigation was conducted. An arrest was made for DWI and a report has been generated.
On Sunday, 3/15/2020, at approximately 11: 16 hours, officers were dispatched to a south side address in the 2100 block of 14th Street in reference to damaged property. Evidence was documented and a report has been generated.
On Sunday March 15, 2020 at approximately 15:32 hours, Officer Self arrived at the 4300 block of Fairway Drive in reference to a stolen firearm.
On Sunday, March 15, 2020, at approximately 17:52 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center (1050 W Commerce) in reference to lost property. A theft report was taken.
On Sunday, March 15, 2020, at approximately 19:34 hours, Officer Donahoo was notified of a call involving a stolen firearm. The victim was contacted via phone and a report was taken.
On 3-15-20 Officers responded to the 2800 block of Morris Sheppard in reference to a domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted and revealed a male and female subject were arguing. There was alleged physical contact and the male half of the altercation was not on scene when Officers arrived. The investigation is still ongoing.
