Brownwood News – A strong storm system is forecast to bring between 1 and 2 inches of rain (isolated heavier amounts) to the Brownwood/Central Texas area on Tuesday and Wednesday.
While some showers may occur on Monday and Monday night, the heaviest rain is forecast to occur between 6:00 pm Tuesday and 3:00 pm Wednesday.
The Brownwood area could see a few strong storms Tuesday night and Wednesday, some with hail and gusty wind.
There is a higher likelihood of strong to severe storms across the Hill Country, counties such as McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and farther south toward Lampasas, Burnet, on down to Austin.
