Brownwood News – (Article by: Kathleen Cravey) Kindergarteners recently celebrated their 100th day of school at East Elementary.
Teachers at the school planned various activities to make this day memorable for the students.
Kindergarten classes celebrate this day to highlight how much the students have grown in this short amount of time.
“Kindergarten is so unique because they come in knowing so little, and they grow so much,” said Chelsea Garcia, a kindergarten teacher at East Elementary. “It is amazing how much they can accomplish in 100 days.”
Furthermore, the teachers and students dressed up as 100-year-olds to add some extra fun to the day.
