Brownwood News – East Elementary’s Parent Teacher Organization and The Hideout Golf Club and Resort is hosting a fundraiser, “Play Glow N Roll” at the Hideout Golf Club and Resort on March 28.
The proceeds from the event will go to East Elementary’s P.E. and playground equipment and will also support The ARC of Brown County to help raise funds for an all-accessible park.
“All kids deserve to have a safe place to play,” said Coach Kim Harvey, Physical Education Teacher at East Elementary. “We hope to raise money to support where they can be safe, creative, and active.”
The “Play Glow N Roll” is perfect for all families, ages, and fitness levels. To support the fundraiser, participants may sign up for a 5K race or a 2 Mile Fun Run. Each participant will receive a “Play Glow N Roll” t-shirt if they are registered by March 11.
On the day of the race, participants may check in from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The 5K race begins at 7:00 p.m. and the 2 Mile Fun Run begins 5 minutes after the last 5K runner starts.
