County Commissioners to Meet Monday Morning – Agenda Posted

Brownwood News – Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 am on Monday, December 16, in Commissioner’s Courtroom, first floor, Brown County Courthouse.  The agenda is below.

  1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
  2. Prayer
  3. Citizen Comments

(All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on July 22, 2019. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.)

  1. Consideration and approval of minutes of December 9th, 2019.
  2. Consideration and approval of any Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report.
  3. Consideration and approval of payment of any bills needed
  4. Consideration and approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:
  5. Dr. Paul Lilly, County Judge – Presentation of an award to the Lake Patrol
  6. Dr. Paul Lilly, County Judge – Consideration and possible approval of purchase of eight body cameras for Sheriff’s office
  7. Dr. Paul Lilly, County Judge – Consideration and possible approval of an lnterlocal contract between the Department of Information Resources and Brown County relating to the use of the DIR Shared Services Master Service Agreements
  8. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban
  9. Mr. Wayne Shaw, Commissioner Pct. 3 – Consideration and possible approval of annexation agreement between Brown County and the City of Early regarding the proposed annexation of the road and right-of-way of 2,035 feet of County Road 341, and 5,090 feet of East River Oaks Road
  10. Jennifer Robison, County Auditor – Discussion and possible budget amendment in regards to the County Court Reporter’s supplement
  11. Vance Hill, County Sheriff- Consideration and possible approval of employee changes
  12. Vance Hill, County Sheriff- Presentation of jail report
  13. Bob Contreras, Grant Coordinator — Presentation of updates on various grant applications
