Balentin G. Diaz of Coleman, Texas passed from this life on Saturday, June 29, 2019, 7:34 am at the age of 90 years at the Coleman County Medical Center in Coleman.
Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating assisted by Deacon Ray Nunez. Interment will follow at the Coleman City Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman. The Family will receive friends for visitation Monday from 6:00 till 7:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home and Rosary led by Terry Dulin will follow at 7:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Chapel.
He was born Balentin Gonzales Diaz on December 16, 1928 in Whon, Coleman County, Texas to Pedro F. and Dominga Gonzales Diaz, Jr. Balentin grew up in Trickham on the McClatchy Ranch and attended the Trickham Schools. On March 8, 1952 Balentin married the love of his life Luciana Vasquez in Coleman, Texas and they have celebrated 67 years of marriage. He was a faithful servant of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and Crusillista. Balentin was a lifetime resident of Coleman County and was a ranch hand for many years with Knox & Knox Ranch.
