Brownwood News – In this week’s Early Police Department Report, a mail carrier required a trip to the hospital after being attacked by a pit bull that was not current on vaccinations.   That is the first report below on this week’s Early Police Blotter.

  Dog bite / 100 Blk Yucca Tree.  PD, Fire Dept and EMS responded to a dog bite where a pit bull attacked a mail carrier.  Mail carrier was treated and transported to ER by Lifeguard ambulance. The dog was was not current on vaccinations and was taken to the animal clinic where it will be sent off for rabies testing. The dog owner received a citation for unvaccinated dog.

• Welfare Check / 300 Blk Early Blvd.
• Accident / 2700 Blk FM 2126. Agency assist with DPS. Fire/EMS responded.
• Medical / 100 bk Broken Arrow. Fire/EMS responded. Lifeguard transported 1
•  Alarm / 200 Blk Early Blvd. building secure
• 06/23
  Accident / 200 Blk Parkway.  Fire/EMS responded.
• Theft motor Vehicle / 200 Blk Early Blvd., vehicle located and recovered in Brownwood. Report taken from owner
• Reckless Driver / CC Woodson. Officers unable to locate vehicle
• Medical Emergency /  130 Sudderth. Lifeguard transported.

• Medical Emergency / 1300 Blk Virginia.
• Theft / 100 Blk Chaparral.
• Loose Livestock / Old May road. Owner located
• Theft of Motor vehicle / 300 Blk Early Blvd.  Caller stated a male subject was looking at his motorcycle then got on the motorcycle and attempted to steel the bike. The suspect was not able to get bike started. Officers located the suspect who admitted he was trying to steel the motorcycle.  The man was placed under arrest and taken to the Brown County Jail for attempted theft of motor vehicle
  Child neglect call / East River Oaks-Meadow Lane. Children playing in street. Officer unable to locate anyone around area
• Theft / 900 Blk Early Blvd.
• Accident / 200 Blk Early Blvd. No injuries minor damage
  Theft / 200 Blk Oak Street
• Suspicious / 100 Blk Meadow Glen

• Animal Cruelty / 1200 Blk Eastwind. Caller believed dog in back yard is in bad shape. Officer checked dog-everything good
• Theft / 300 Blk Early Blvd. Report taken
• Loose Livestock / 100 Blk Allen Drive. Owner located

• Wanted Person / a man and woman were arrested for warrants in Early Municipal Court. Transported to Brown Co Jail.
