Brownwood News – The San Angelo National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Brown and San Saba counties in Central Texas. The Fort Worth Weather Services has included Comanche and Mills counties in the advisory that also includes San Angelo, Bronte, Robert Lee, Sterling City and Mason.
High temperatures near 100 degrees and high humidity will lead to a “feels like” temperature of 105 degrees from Brownwood to San Saba to Mason. There will be increased risk of heat-related illnesses including heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Drink plenty of fluids, especially water, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun and check on relatives and neighbors. Reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or late evening.
