Brownwood News – The following calls were responded to by Brownwood Police and included in the Police Report on Thursday, June 20, 2019.
On June 18, 2019, an officer responded to North Brownwood address, and spoke with a citizen who had unintentionally took part in a scam. A report was generated and further investigation is pending.
On 06-19-19, at 0820 hrs, an Officer was dispatched to 100 block of Bluffview for a dog bite.

The following calls were included in the Police Report on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.
On June 17, 2019, at 1410 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to an address in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive in reference to credit/debit card abuse. Several unauthorized transactions had occurred using the victim’s debit card number in New York State. No suspect information was available at the time of this report.
On June 18, 2019, an Officer spoke with a citizen who reported their vehicle was stuck by an unknown vehicle and driver on June 14, 2019, while parked at the WalMart parking lot.
On 06/18/2019, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 1400 block of Waco in regards to two females arguing behind a residence, which resulted in a report for theft being generated.
