THEFT PROP >= $750<$2,500 – On May 21, 2019, at 7:28 AM, a Brownwood PD Officer spoke with a complainant in Fort Worth, TX regarding two chainsaws that had been stolen while the complainant was in Brownwood. A suspect was named and report was generated.
DRIVING W/LIC INVALID W/PREV CONV/SUSP/W/O FIN RES – On May 21, 2019, officers were dispatched to a wreck in the 1600 block of Austin Ave. During the collision investigation, the driver of unit 1 was found to have an invalid driver’s license and did not have proof of financial responsibility. The driver was then placed into custody and booked into the Brown County Jail.
STALKING – On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Officers took a walk-in in reference to stalking. After speaking to the parties involved, a report was generated.
THEFT PROP >=$100<$750 – On May 21, 2019 BPD spoke to a female in reference to a stolen bicycle. The female stated that her son’s bicycle had been stolen front her residence in the 2400 block of Vine St. The bicycle was a Panama Jack bicycle that was blue with woodgrain on it. The caller stated that the bicycle had a black and white Panama Jack lunch box on the front. The caller also stated that the bicycle had black grips, a Bell front tire, and a Panama Jack rear tire. A theft report was generated.
THEFT PROP<$100 – On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Officers responded to 1019 Coggin Avenue in reference to theft. After speaking to the store owner, a report was generated.
BURGLARY OF HABITATION – On 05/21/19, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in regards to a burglary, which ·resulted in a report being generated for Burglary of a Habitation.
RACING ON HIGHWAY – On May 21, 2019 BPD observed a black Dodge Challenger and a silver passenger car racing on down Coggin Avenue towards Highway 377 South. A traffic stop was initiated on the black Dodge Challenger. BPD was unable to stop the silver passenger car. The driver of the Challenger admitted to racing the other vehicle. This stop led to the arrest of John Noyola for Racing on Highway.
ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJ – SIMPLE ASLT – On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Officers responded to 2800 Southside Drive (Food Plaza) in reference to a male who came into the store bleeding from the back of the head. After speaking to the male, a report was generated.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS – On 05/22/19, Brownwood Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood address in regards to a male being detained for attempting to break into a vehicle, which resulted in a juvenile male being arrested for trespassing and a report being generated.
