CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >=$100<$750 – On Sunday, April 14, 2019 at approximately 5:22 PM, 911-operators contacted an officer by radio stating a victim wanted a phone call from the police department. The complaint was stated her vehicle tires were slashed by a known person.
INJURY CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLED W/INT BODILY INJ-SIMPLE ASSAULT – On Monday, April 15, 2019, at approximately 4:18 PM, an officer was dispatched to a South Brownwood business in reference to Child Abuse/Neglect. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with an employee. An information report was generated and competed.
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE – On 4/17/2019 at 6:16 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 1600 blk of Coggin Ave. in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Dispatch informed the officer, the complainant’s vehicle was broken into, along with other vehicles. Dispatch added, there was a firearm stolen from the complainant’s vehicle.
CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE – On Thursday, April 18, 2019 at approximately 7:20 am, an officer was flagged down by a subject. He was a fuel pump technician, and was calibrating diesel pump #5, then identified a suspicious object inside the fuel pump. This event occurred at 2800 Southside, Food Plaza #9.
ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJURY FAMILY MEMBER – On Thursday, April 18, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Indian Creek Dr for a report of family violence. When officers arrived, the aggressor was no longer on scene. Information was gathered from the victim and a report was generated.
ASSAULT THREAT OR OFFENSIVE TOUCH – On Thursday April 18, 2019 at approximately 4:28 PM, an officer arrived at the LEC. The officer was dispatched to the LEC in reference to a report of an offensive touch.
ASSAULT THREAT OR OFFENSIVE TOUCH FAMILY MEMBER – On 04/18/19, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in regards to a domestic disturbance, which resulted in a report for Assault being generated.
FALSE REPORT TO POLICE OFFICER/LAW ENFORCEMENT EMPLOYEE – On Friday April 19th, 2019 at approximately 6:49 PM, Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to 2601 Crockett Dr (BRMC) in reference to a subject with an accidental gunshot wound to the leg. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.
THEFT PROP <$100 – On 4/19/2019 Brownwood Police responded to a south side business in reference to a theft. A report was generated and an investigation is ongoing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – MINOR – On 4-20-19 at approximately 12:01 AM, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to Whataburger (411 E Commerce St) in reference to DUI. A traffic stop was conducted and a male subject was issued a citation for DUI Minor. A report was generated.
BURGLARY OF HABITATION – On 4/20/2019 at approximately 11:33 AM, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to 1900 block Vincent Ave for a burglary call. Police made contact with complainant and a report was made for burglary of a habitation.
THEFT PROP >=$30K<$150K – On 4/20/19 at approximately 6:39 PM, an officer met with 2 complainants at 2205 Vine St in reference to theft. A report has been completed for felony theft.
BURGLARY OF HABITATION – On 4/20/2019 Brownwood Police responded to a south side residence in reference to a report of a burglary. A report was generated and an investigation is ongoing.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION – On April 20, 2019, Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to 4400 block of Redbird Dr. in reference to a disturbance/DWI. Officers spoke with the reporting parties. Kip Brown was arrested for Public Intoxication, Class C Misdemeanor.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 3RD OR MORE – On April 21st, 2019 at approximately 12:30 AM, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the corner of W Main BLVD and Hickory Street. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more.
ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJURY FAMILY MEMBER – On 4-21-19 at approximately 2:30 AM, Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to 1204 Campa Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance. Following an investigation, Dominic Williams was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury – Family Violence. Williams was transported to the Brown Co Jail.
POSS MARIJUANA <2 OZ – On Sunday April 21st, 2019 at approximately 5:15 AM, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Austin Avenue. After a short investigation one subject was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >=$100<$750 – On Sunday, April 21, 2019, at approximately 7:48 AM, an officer was dispatched to a South Brownwood address in reference to Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who advised that sometime during the night her window on her front door was broken out. The complainant stated she did wish to pursue charges. A report was generated and completed.
ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJ – On Sunday, April 21, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence for an assault report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
RESIST ARREST SEARCH OR TRANSPORT – On 4/22/2019 Brownwood Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 500 block of Bailey Street which led to the arrest of a known male.
FAILURE TO IDENTIFY GIVING FALSE/FICTITIOUS INFO – Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Main Blvd which resulted in the arrest of a known male for Failure to Identify.
