BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORTS: FEBRUARY 11, 2019

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Monday, February 11, 2019. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

On Thursday, January 31, 2019 at approximately 11:37 A.M., a Brownwood police officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Indian Creek Dr. in reference to criminal mischief. The officer arrived on scene and examined the scene and spoke with a complainant. A report has been made.

Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to the 1400 block of Waco St. in reference to Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. A report was generated.

Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to 2600 block of Crockett, on February 4th, 2019, for Assault Family Violence. A report was generated.

On February 8, 2019 at approximately 8:56 A.M., Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to 4400 block of Mimosa Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report was completed regarding the incident.

On Saturday, February 9, 2019 at approximately 5:06 A.M., Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to 1000 block of 1st Street in reference to a domestic disturbance report. Female subject was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family member.

On February 9, 2019 at approximately 1:26 P.M., a Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to 1050 W Commerce St (Brownwood Police Department) in reference to counterfeit currency. A counterfeit twenty dollar bill was collected as evidence and a report was generated.

On Saturday, February 9, 2019 at approximately 6:05 P.M., Officer Risden was dispatched to a north Brownwood business regarding fraud & a forged check. Upon arrival an investigation and a report was completed.

On Saturday February 9, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood residence for a criminal mischief report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.

On February 10, 2019 at approximately 12:00 A.M., Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Pecan Street for a criminal mischief call. Police made contact with the complainant and a report was generated.

On Sunday, February 10, 2019 at approximately 3:28 A.M., Brownwood Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of Austin Ave in reference to a hit and run report. A report has been generated.

On February 10, 2019, Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to the 400 block of W Commerce in reference to theft. Officers made contact with the suspect. Suspect was identified on sight and was arrested for several Warrants, Criminal Trespass, Class B Misdemeanor, and Theft of Property Greater Than/Equal to $100 Less Than $750 Enhanced for Previous Convictions, Class A Misdemeanor.
