Donald Keeney

Donald Keeney of Coleman, Texas at the age of 81 years passed from this life on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 3:14 pm at the Kindred Hospital Fort Worth Southwest.

Services will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Paul Judd officiating.  Interment will follow with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.  The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 6:00 till 7:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.

He was born Donald Ray Keeney on July 26, 1937 in Coleman, Texas to Thomas William and Imogene Carrie Griffith Keeney.  Donald was raised in Coleman and was a Coleman High School graduate.  On June 26, 1970 he married Ritha Mae White in Coleman and celebrated 48 years of marriage.   Ritha preceded him in death on November 28, 2018.             

Donald was a lifetime resident of Coleman and member of the Baptist Church.  His life’s chosen profession was as an Auto Mechanic and Farming. 

SURVIVORS:Daughter – Marlais Keeney of Coleman, TexasSon – Tim and wife Toni Keeney of Ft Worth, TexasSister – Virginia Roach of Cross Plains, TexasBrother – Doug Keeney of San Angelo, Texas3 Grandchildren – Shayna Metcalf, Tanner Keeney & Logan Keeney4 Great Grandchildren 

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Son-in-law Ayo Aladefa, 2 Sisters and a Brother
