Troy Koen, 62, left his temporary home here on Earth and was received in Heaven on January 17, 2019.
Troy was born on September 20, 1956 in Midland, TX, to Linda and Cambell Koen, He spent most of his life in San Angelo, Tx where he met the love of his life Edith whom he married on June 14, 1975. Troy worked many jobs to provide for his family. He worked in mobile sales with his dad, car sales with his brothers, and hauled sand for many years. He was the nicest man you’d ever come across. Troy was the most giving man you would ever meet. He would give you the shirt of his back, last dollar in pocket, or food from his pantry if he thought you needed it and would not take anything in return. His personality was larger than life and he was not one to mince words. He loved his god fiercely and was a member of the Brownwood Primitive Baptist Church.
Troy’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was blessed in life by his wife Edith Koen of San Angelo, daughters Misti Koen of San Angelo; Amber Deremo and husband Jeremy of San Angelo; Jessi Watts and husband Josh of San Angelo, Tx. Seven beautiful grandchildren: Kayli, Gavin, Bryson, Braydon, Bailynn, Nic, and Ella.
