L&L Company of Odessa, Texas will begin installing center line rumble strips and thermal plastic striping. This project will increase driver safety in an effort to help drivers avoid crossing over the centerline of traffic on these roadways and to avoid crashes where vehicles run off the roadway.
The $1,682,223 project will begin on approximately July 23 at 8 a.m. and is anticipated to be complete by the end of September 2018. Work will be performed on weekdays and occasional Saturdays during this time.
Due to this project being mobile, the contractor will use advance notice signs on the roadway. There will be no lane closures during the project; however, motorists are reminded to slow down when in the work zone and to watch for slow moving construction equipment.
