Pecan Valley Republican Women Club to Host City Election Candidate Forum

Brownwood News – The Pecan Valley Republican Women will be hosting a Brownwood Municipal Elections Candidate Forum. The Forum will be held on Tuesday, April 17th, at 6 p.m., at the Brownwood Depot.

The forum will feature the candidates from the Mayor and City Council races. Candidates attending and participating in the forum will be Incumbent, Mayor Stephen Haynes, and Challenger, Mike Tittle. Incumbent, Councilman H.D. Jones and Challenger, Patrick McLaughlin.

The public is invited to attend and bring written questions to submit before the beginning of the forum. 

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host a political forum for the candidates on Friday, April 13th, at the Brownwood Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for buffet lunch is $14 payable to the Brownwood Country Club for those eating lunch. The luncheon is sponsored by Demand Staff.

Early voting for the City of Brownwood election will take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on April 23 – 27, 2018 and between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on April 30 – May 1, 2018.

Election day voting will be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on May 5, 2018.

All voting takes place at the Brown County Elections Office – 613 N. Fisk
