This year’s speaker Kevin Andrews, son of Brownwood Economic Development Director Guy Andrews, has spoken at the campus muster in recent years.
Muster is a tradition dating back decades and has a been celebrated in foxholes and on battleships during World War 2 as well as the ballrooms and steak houses of today. It is a time of reflection and renewal of commitment for Aggies world wide. Over 300 gatherings across the globe will be held to observe Muster.
The name of each local former Aggie who has passed away in the previous year will be read aloud during the Roll Call, and a member of their family or friends will respond to show that the memory of that alum is not forgotten.
The various activities planned for the local observance of the Muster will include dinner, drinks and the program by Kevin Andrews, beginning at 6 p.m.
The Spirit of Texas Winery is located at 6037 County Road 291, on the left hand side as you head towards Zephyr.

“Because you will forever be an Aggie, you can walk a little taller, stand a little straighter and feel a little prouder. You will forever glow with the eternal Aggie Spirit-a mighty flame that will never go out. As long as Aggies hold in our hearts the love and respect for our fellow Aggies, for our university, and for our unique traditions, the link between A&M past and A&M future will forever remain strong.” Bill Carter ’69
