Wednesday, January 17th
*9:56 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of W. Commerce Street, which resulted in the issuance of a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
*12:18 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street iin reference to a theft.
*12:47 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brady in reference to a Burglary of Habitation.
*4:30 p.m. Brownwood Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle. The vehicle fled from officers and was involved in an accident. Casey Durant (pictured at top) was arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention with Vehicle with Prior Convictions, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 less than 28 grams Drug Free Zone and a Brownwood Municipal Court Warrant for Failure to Appear.
*7:52 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Lane Street in reference to a Disturbance. A report was generated for this incident.
*10:29 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Crockett Dr. in reference to a hit and run. An Officer spoke with the complainant and a report was generated for Duty on Striking Unattended Vehicle greater than $200, Class B Misdemeanor.
