December 26th:
- Community Relations – male subject walking in the cold. Officer gave a courtesy ride to subject.
- Traffic Hazard – Heartland Drive, 18 wheeler unloading cars in roadway – driver given citation for parked in roadway
- Welfare Check – 1000 block Early Boulevard, caller unable to contact her daughter. Is afraid her boyfriend will not allow her to call out. Everything ok. No problems
- Alarm – 1000 block Early Boulevard, motion alarm. Building secure
- Suspicious call – East Highway 377/ Salt Creek – vehicle spotlighting. Officers unable to locate
- Attempted warrant service – unable to locate subject.
December 25th:
- Accident – Early Blvd/CC Woodson – 2 vehicles no injuries – citation issued to 1 driver
- Suspicious call – caller advised to males followed her from Allsup’s. Gave description. Unable to locate the suspect
December 24th:
- theft/fraud – caller wanted to speak with officer regarding Shawn Brantley selling him a stolen vehicle. Offense occurred in Ft Worth- referred to Ft Worth PD.
- Accident – Vehicle hit a Deer. Accident occurred in Brownwood, referred to Brownwood PD
- Harassment – 100 block Early Boulevard – subject given a criminal trespass warning. Subject coming to female’s employment and harassing her.
- Accident – 900 block Early Boulevard – Hit and Run accident occurred on parking lot of Scott’s Western Wear. Suspect vehicle – white Dodge Pickup with Tarlton Sticker on right rear window and Texas Tech on left rear window
- Follow up call – caller stated she reported a ladder stolen, caller located the ladder in the pawn shop. Hold was placed on the item until further investigation could be done.
- Reckless Driver – South Highway 183 traveling north to Early. BCSO stopped vehicle
- Agency Assist – 1500 block of Davis Lane with Brownwood PD for stabbing call
- Domestic Disturbance – Bluebonnet Hills – parties stated they were watching a movie, yeling at kids. No problems
- Juvenile Problem – 130 Sudderth Dr – caller reported kids looking into vehicles in parking lot. Kids located, met with parents
- Suspicious – 900 Blk Early Blvd – White pickup at Sonic, caller reported both occupants were intoxicated. Vehicle drove away, officer stopped the vehicle on East Commerce. Field sobriety test given. The driver Levan Welch was placed under arrest for DWI and resisting arrest. Welch began resisting when officer went to place handcuffs on him. A search warrant was obtained to draw blood for blood alcohol test. Subject taken to ER to obtain blood sample then taken to Brown County Jail. The Passenger, Bryce Massingill was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication.
December 22nd:
- 100 block Early Boulevard – alarm call. Building secure
- 200 block Hilcrest – medical call – lifeguard transported
December 21st:
- Suspicious call – 900 block Early Boulevard – subject acting strange around the Church, dressed in camo, several church employees worried about him. Subject was a homeless person passing through. He was offered some assistance but refused and stated he would continue in his travels.
- Animal complaint – Hwy 183 south. Reporting person stopped officer concerned about some horses conditions. Location was in County. Referred to Sheriff’s Office.
- Reckless Driver – Hwy 377 south toward Brownwood – truck almost struck vehicle – vehicle came all way through Brownwood and entered Early. Officer located vehicle and held for BCSO to respond since offense occurred in County
- Unwanted person – 1200 cc Woodson – vehicle parked outside that was not part of anyone renting. Made contact with vehicle. Was waiting in person to arrive and pick them up.
December 20th:
- Theft – 100 block Cactus Lane – caller reported the theft of bicycle
- Indecent exposure – 100 block Early Boulevard – male subject exposed himself to female worker. Incident occurred a couple days prior to call. Options provided
- Accident – 500 block Early Boulevard – 2 vehicle accident, drivers refused medical. Citation issued to 1 driver
- Theft – 900 block Early Boulevard
- Animal complaint – 100 block northline drive – caller stated his dog got out and couldn’t find him. Wanted to give officer information in case they located him
- Accident – 800 block Early Boulevard – 2 vehicle, air bag deployed, refused medical transport. 1 citation issued to driver
- Sexual assault – reported to Brownwood PD, officer responded to location, incident was enticing a child, further investigation to be done.
- Accident – Early Blvd/ Sudderth Dr – no injuries vehicle hit a deer.
- Accident – Early Blvd / Sudderth Dr – no injuries – 2nd vehicle hit a deer while officer working the 1st accident.
- Suspicious call – 100 block Trailer Drive. male subject sitting in vehicle alone – everything ok
- Alarm call – 500 block Garmon – building secure
- Domestic Disturbance – 100 block Sudderth Drive – no violence, separated
