Brownwood News – There will be a barbecue plate fundraiser on July 17th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or longer in the Firestone parking lot, located at 509 West Commerce Street in Brownwood. Chip Barker with Chipster’s Grill will be selling pulled pork sandwich plates including a drink and chips for $7.

There will also be a bake sale, silent auction, and a raffle with prizes including a Dove Hunt, catering from Chipster’s Grill, and game processing. Flour Power Bakery will have their cupcake trailer on site as well, and all proceeds from their sales will be donated to the family of Noah Lemond.
Four year old Noah died tragically at home after an accident involving mini blinds.
Blaylock Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements for Noah Lemond. Funeral Service for Noah was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at High Mesa Cowboy Church with Todd King officiating; burial followed at Bangs Cemetery.
The funeral home is accepting donations to offset the cost of arrangements for services. Donations can be given in person at the funeral home: 1914 Indian Creek Drive in Brownwood, or by credit card over the phone: 325-203-4027.
An account at TexasBank has been established to help with funeral expenses, medical bills and grief counseling for Noah’s family. The account is listed under the name Tiffany Kilburn Lemond, in memory of Noah Lemond.
A Patrolling for Noah fundraiser will also be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 29th at Wildfire Truck Sales, located at 424 Early Boulevard in Early. There will be a silent auction table at the fundraiser, as well as hamburger or hotdog plates with potato salad, chips, dessert, and a drink for $8 per plate.
