Brownwood News – Several Vacation Bible School programs will be available in the Brownwood area starting next week through August. Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a specialized form of religious education, usually offered by the Christian faith, which focuses on children. Churches usually hold the week-long events during the summer, though the lengths of such programs may vary. Most VBS programs usually consist of Bible stories, religious songs, arts and crafts, skits, or puppet shows which cater toward elementary school-aged children.

Special thanks to Meredith Fulfer Locker for compiling a list of local events. If your church’s activities are not included, please email [email protected] with the information and the article will be updated.
