Monday, May 15th
*7:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 1st Street for a criminal mischief report.
*8:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Greenway regarding a theft. According to the report, a 4-foot tall windmill yard decoration was stolen.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy performed a traffic stop on a green van on Tamarack Drive. The driver was identified as Tony Cunningham, but could not produce a driver’s license. After a consent search of the van, Cunningham and his passenger, Paige Prescott were both arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than one gram, after the deputy discovered 0.8 grams of methamphetamine concealed in the center console.
Tuesday, May 16th
*6:54 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of E. Commerce in reference to theft. A business in this area had several items stolen. Description of suspect was provided. Investigation is still on going.
