BISD Press Release – Woodland Heights Elementary kindergarten classes concluded their recent study of Texas by participating in the annual Kindergarten Rodeo. On Friday, March 31, students were able to take part in a field full of traditional rodeo-themed events including a hay ride, branding station, stick horse race, wagon pull, roping lesson, and more.

The event took place outdoors on the Woodland Heights Elementary campus, dubbed “The Woodland Ranch” throughout the rodeo. “This event was made possible by the generous donations of parents and volunteers from the BHS National Honor Society,” stated Kindergarten teacher, Kelsie Eldred.
