Over 40 officers representing five law enforcement agencies are currently participating in a two-day training event held at Camp Bowie in Brownwood. The training session is hosted by the Texas Narcotic Officers Association and is offered to members of the association’s West Regional Branch.
Officers from the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, the Brownwood Police Department, the Comanche Police Department, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and San Angelo State University will receive tactical training for various shooter situations throughout the National Guard training center.
This is the fourth year for Brownwood agencies to attend this training as a team, and the second year for the training session to be held in Brownwood at Camp Bowie.
