Dustin Bostick of Bangs participated in the State Fair of Texas Open Show and took home top honors with his Red Brangus cattle, winning Grand Champion Bull and Reserve Champion Heifer on Friday, October 21st. He also won his class with another one of his heifers during the junior show on Sunday, October, 23rd.
Bostick is a Senior at Bangs High School and serves as class president and National Honor Society (NHS) president.
This will be his last year to show in the junior shows. Bostick will stay busy with his animals and plans to show at the Brown County Show, the Bangs Local Show, Ft. Worth Stock Show, San Antonio Stock Show, Houston Stock Show and then round out the show season with the National Red Brangus Show in late July.
After graduation, Bostick plans to attend Texas A & M to study Nutrition and then attend Pharmaceutical School.
